‘The relationship with your photographer is an important one, you're not just buying a service, confidence in a ‘creative’ is essential. I’ll be a photographer all my life, it's what I do.’
So, you want to know more about me? I’m tempted to say the generic usual professional message blah, blah…
My father was a wedding photographer, my Mum too, so I grew up in the 70’s helping Dad develop massive prints for theatre in our bath tub! I’ve had camera’s around me all my life; Rollei, Hasselblad, Lieca; how I wish we’d kept them. Will the latest cameras evoke the same nostalgia in years to come?
I continue to be fascinated in the reproduction of images from developing my own 'black & white films in my shed (as a teenager), astrophotography in my back garden and more recently shooting video projects. I’m not afraid to tell you I studied photography at art college in Plymouth and I do have more years experience than I want to admit as a studio stills photographer.
I am a couple of years into shooting video, aiming to fill a gap supplying content to small companies who’re wanting to shoot more video but perhaps don’t know where to start.
Still photography continues side by side video, as with my stills work, I’m aiming high, working on storytelling, shooting lovely footage, keeping it short and to the point for social media channels.
